# Isa
> If they spend even one coin..... Sell one gem..... I will hunt them to the ends of the earth. *-- Isa* Isa had been a largely solitary creature most of her life. The knights that attacked her gave her no reason to be otherwise. They took her eye, they took her leg, they took her wing, they drove her from her home, and they robbed her of all she held dear. Now, with her body repaired, she seeks revenge on the last soul who had evaded her until now.

### Backstory --- Isa lived alone in a cave in the mountains bordering a kingdom. She didn't bother anyone, and only occasionally traveled to nearby cities for companionship and festivities. But the king found her mere presence to be a threat, and sent a party of adventurers to slay her - and, of course, to claim her hoard. They struck without warning, taking everything from her and wounding her severely. It was all she could do to fly away, one wing so tattered she couldn't even fly in a straight line. She blacked out, and awoke under the care of a doctor, missing a leg, an eye, and a wing. It took a long time for her to recover from the attack, and longer still to find someone with the skill needed to make her functional prosthetics. But she was stubborn, and kept searching until she was finally granted flight once more. It wasn't quite the same, but it was better than nothing. Since then, she found three of the four knights that had attacked her, and sent them to their graves. Now, after a century, she finally has a lead on the last one. She will not let this one rest in peace, not until she's had her fill.

### Personality --- Isa is generally cold and distant towards strangers, unless she sees an opportunity for mischief. Those who she favors, however, she warms up to quickly, and will speak plainly with them. Though she is not so foolish to earn the ire of those stronger than her.

### Abilities --- #### ✦ Flight Though not as gifted in the air as she once was, Isa still loves flying. #### ✦ Ice Affinity Isa is capable of unleashing a blast of deadly cold with her breath, as well as other ice magic she has honed over her lengthy lifetime. As a side effect, she is highly resistant to cold and ice. #### ✦ Shapeshifting In order to spend time among humanoids without attracting attention - and occasionally mess with them - Isa has developed the ability to change shape, including her mechanical augments. She prefers to take the form of a pale elven woman in a flowing white dress, especially when partially obscured by snow, giving her an ethereal and ghostly look. ### Skills & Stats --- Isa's greatest strengths are her determination, her flying, and her magic.
