The greatest mind in the kingdoms (according to her) with a taste for royal fashion. Dedicated to study and improve on nature itself with her patented superior metal alloy, this scrappy mad tech is all too eager to field test her own creations, to everyone else’s detriment.

A brilliant mechanic with intellect only matched by her ego. While capable of admiring and complimenting other's skills Synthea is genuinely convinced she is the smartest person in the room at all time when it comes to engineering.

Despite her love for designing regal clothing she cares not for the life of a queen, preferring to make things with her own hands.

The ability to control magnetism through electrical charges.

  • A complete natural ability detached from any machine
  • Requires direct contact with her "green lightning"
  • She can connect multiple objects to cobble constructs together
  • Even if broken she can just reattach the pieces, may not be as efficient (depending on the complexity) but still functional
  • Depending on the material's flexibility and construct complexity she can morph it to suit her needs
  • Her own super alloy (comprising her whole suit) is built to bend, shrink or expand in order to hide multiple weapons
  • While incapable of flight she can fling herself at high speeds

Weaknesses

  • Cant "fly" with it, she can hover but this hover requires a "base" to float from. This also applies to her objects
  • Lightning is limited to about 5 meters
  • Once "connected" with a metallic object she can control it beyond 5 meters
  • "Connected" objects cant "infect" other objects unless Synthea is touching them
  • Sentient metallic objects (Like Robots) can struggle and eventually break free, getting harder the larger the target is
  • Simple constructs require concentration to keep together, scaling with size

  • Made of the same super alloy her suits are, making it resistant to impacts and easy to repair
  • Standard slate of superhuman upgrades (Strenght, speed, endurance)

  • Does not need to Eat, sleep or any other average bodily function
  • No blood, oil or any liquid, its powered purely by her core

Synthea is powered by a Core made of what was once her brain. That core is sealed inside essentially an upgraded form of her lil helpers.

  • Its not any one of her organs, more like a sentient fleshmass
  • Located around the stomach area
  • Very dense, heavy to carry and incredibly durable
  • No weapons but can still use her powers to create a temporary body
  • Really small, slightly taller than her minions but still small
  • Insulates the biomas within from external temperatures

Being made of a metal alloy her body is quite resistant to Electrical attacks and even converts it to energy.

  • Can be used to power the suit or herself up
  • If powered enough she can actually fire back lighting, which normally she cant
  • Channel that energy into her weapons
  • Makes energy weapons fire stronger charges and physical ones can be charged to fire even faster than before

Weaknesses

  • It will still damage the body/suit
  • Suit can be overloaded causing overheating and malfunctions (still powers her up)

✦ [Synthea's Super Alloy]

Created by Synthea by distilling and merging multiple, carefully selected, types of metals through a few complex steps in order to make a new metal with the best of all their qualities, her proudest achievement.

  • Name pending, this is not me its a plot point in her lore, I have a name already i just think it would be funny to explore the process later
  • Not as flexible as cloth but close enough that some people can confuse them
  • Stronger than most metals but specifically strong against Impact based attacks
  • An extra process made it magically conductive specifically to her own lightning
  • Using her powers Synthea can "weave" together the material to seal wounds like it never happened

Weaknesses

  • While maleable its not liquid, once again think of it like heavy cloth or leather
  • Enough damage will prevent the area from healing, unless she wants to take pieces of her clothing
  • Consistent High temperatures can destabilize the material enough to melt or at least make it difficult for Synthea to pull her weapons

Important: None of this weaknesses apply to her Core, since that was made to be extremely durable and isolate the biomass inside from external dangers.

✦ Imperative Strengths

Remarkably Smart: High intellect means she is capable of understanding complex ideas quickly, such as multiverses, teleportation or quantum mechanics, she may not be an expert in it but she can grasp enough of it to use it for herself.

Tinkerer: She loves to study mechanics and devices, breaking them down and putting them together. 

Creative thinker: Even if you take away her suit and augments Synthea is very good thinking on her feet and specially using her electromagnetism.

Though to the core: Synthea's body is powered by her core, its not the chest (that's a secondary engine) but around her stomach, this core is inside armor of the same but more concentrated alloy, making it though to pierce, can still attract things with her magnetism. This include "stitching" back broken body-parts, maybe not be as functional but can still work.

Imperative Weaknesses

Electromagnetism range: In order to control something with her electromagnetism she needs to "connect" with her energy, this energy has about a 5 meter range. Once connected the object has no range limit but it cant "spread" that connection unless Synthea is touching it as well.

Poor melee skills: Synthea is more of a ranged strategist. Staying back and using a wide array of weapons to blast the enemy or retreat and lay traps. She has no actual melee combat training and usually resorts to wild swinging or find ways to slip away, her swings are strong and can come fast but skilled opponents can outmatch her.

Overconfident, to her detriment: Its not a bluff, she genuinely believes to be the smartest person in the room at all times, at least with her own topics like strategy or mechanics. Means she tents to get in fights she may not be as prepared as she thinks, or underestimate her enemies.

Poor Social intelligence: Tents to look down others, she will see and compliment their skills or achievements, but she is still better than you and knows best at all times. While smart enough to consult others in topics she doesnt know, her ego makes it hard to admit it.

She will survive, you are secondary: Even in a team up she will prioritize her own safety at all times and wont hesitate to run some friendly fire if she believes it will ensure a victory. Attacking allies is not her first option, but its always an option.

Usage Notes


Synthea No. 1, always, to her Synthea is out there for her own goals. She will make alliances and play nice if necessary but at the end of the day she is playing to HER benefit and hers alone.

Not a traitor, not an ally either While a schemer she will not betray people for the sake of it. Would rather just leave than make an enemy, unless she has beef with that individual. If she is gonna betray someone give her a good reason.

Killing isnt her first option, but its one Synthea prefers not to kill, too much hassle usually. If it happens because of collateral or she has to kill someone to progress she doesnt mind doing it.

Electromagnetism vs sentient things Synthea gains a lot of control when magnetizing something inanimate but if the thing has a level of sentience it can fight it. Think of it like when you try to lift a pet:

  • if the pet wants to be picked up you can easily lift it up and mess with it, its gonna love it
  • If it doesn't its gonna wiggle around, try to push you off or run away

In this example the Electromagnetism acts like invisible hands that try to move the target, if the target is strong or big enough it can break away from the control and further touches have diminish returns if done too quickly.
