[An excitable man of short stature and wide girth, concealing rippling muscles beneath his clothes. One would not think him one of the fore most wizards of the Arcadian continent, yet he still was.]

Backstory

[Originally coming from the desert home of the dwarves of Arcadia. Darven found their conservative traditions stifling and stowed away in a merchants caravan one day, not being discovered till they were too far to turn back. The merchants took care of the wayward youth for a time until he was of age. During which time he was shown to have great talent in magic. Helping sponsor his education with a reputable mages college. Spending a significant portion of time learning and studying magic. It wasn't long till he was a well respected mage and even offered a spot as an instructor at the college. Setting out on his first adventure since leaving his home town, he set out to explore the continent of Arcadia. After fending of a vampire attack from a small village during his travels, he encountered Sarun. Sarun thinking very highly of Darven's accomplishments in magic, asked him to join his noble cause. And the journey continues to this day.]
