The girl intrigued her and after a series of very unfortunate events, Lindsi's compassion caused her to take the girl in as a travel companion. Over the last several years, however, her feelings towards her young friend turned from maternal to romantic. There is some question as to whether they are reciprocated, as Lindsi has a rival for Emerald's heart- she would kill him if she could, but that would make Emmy very very sad. But the moment it wouldn't... Lindsi would gladly make all her wishes come true.

Lindsi is generally grumpy and standoffish, often coming across as rude or mean. She's been around too long to really care how others think. She has a soft spot for the weak and helpless, however, and can be very maternal and protective of them.

In case it hasn't been stated enough times, Lindsi is a vampire. She needs to drink blood every few weeks in order to stay functional. When she gets too hungry her feral instincts (aka The Beast) will kick in and she becomes a harbinger of death, gleefully killing anyone in her path so that she can feed. Once full she'll return back to normal, left to deal with the consequences of her rampage with no memory of it.

She has the ability to turn into mist, which allows her to travel at faster speeds than normal. While in this form she cannot speak or otherwise physically interact with the world around her, but it's great for getting the hell out of dodge.

She also has the ability to create violet-colored flames on her being. They can be thrown or otherwise moved, but they start on her body- usually her hands or arms.

Lindsi is able to summon her scythe into her hands from anywhere. She doesn't explain how or why she's able to do this, she just is. This means that she can decapitate you at any time with very little effort, so it's best not to give her a reason to. Mercifully, she only attacks if someone is a serious threat to either her or Emerald.

Lindsi is a very efficient hunter when she wants to be, so it is best not to give her a reason. She can smell blood like a shark, and can even identify different peoples' blood. Her favorite flavor is AB+.

Unlike other vampires, she DOES NOT burn in sunlight- it does, however, make her uncomfortable. Crosses and holy symbols also do not affect her, but blessed objects will burn her very painfully.
