Threatened by an invading force, he fell for the tricks of a disguised daemon. Becoming the first vampire and succumbing to his condition, he drove back the invading forces. Losing himself in a blood frenzy he killed many of his own people, turning a great many in the process. Seeking redemption for his actions, he immersed himself in prayer and fought his hunger with force of will. Taking pity on him, Kyseleen the god of acid granted him strength and a holy weapon to burn away the corruption he spread upon his home. He has spent the hundred of years since the fall of his nation doing his best to stamp out as many of his progeny as he can locate.]
