Hailing from the most dangerous of realms, the Sasquatch are a species steeped in ancient lore and mystery. Elmer is not so enigmatic. Having a natural curiosity for non-sasquatch species, he likes to explore and converse with those not of his kin. Now he has come to answer the call of Cain and see if his unique perspective could provide an answer to the problem of the Bifrost Terminal. Even if he seems completely out of place doing it.
Table of ContentsBackstoryIn a far-off plane of reality, lies the home dimension of what many would call the bigfoot; but they go by many names. Not that they care, they live in extremely loose societies, completely careless of the thoughts or opinions of other intelligent beings. Sasquatch, contrary to what most believe, have the innate ability to travel between realities at will. Traveling from one place to the next was as simple for them as a stroll down the street for us. Popping into one place or another usually in search for their favorite foods or beautiful sights, with the occasional run in with the native inhabitance of that place. Elmer however, was different. He was actively curious of other beings and tried to interact with them. But he had a limited capacity given the fact that he didn’t know any other language. So everyone just ran away from him. That was until back in his home dimension, he met someone who would become his first friend from outside his species. He was a part of a humanoid forest people, who practiced mysticism, martial arts, and meditation. One in this monk-like society, a young man named Javor wasn’t afraid, and began to learn from Elmer, and Elmer from Javor. Over their years learning, Elmer picked up many things, including other languages, fighting techniques, and many various nuances of other cultures other than his own. Javor even gave him his nickname, cause Yuqhahagiabekl was too hard to say for any non-sasquatch.
He eventually went out on his own again and began to learn even more using the skills Javor provided him. Learning more and more to his own amusement. And after a long trip he would go and tell Javor what he saw.
During his travels, Elmer was actually someone surprised at the revelation of how restricted the other races were. The vast majority being stuck in their own pocket, which felt small to an interdimensional being like him.
Therefore, after obtaining an invitation to the Bifrost Terminal, he thought it would be a good place to understand other species more, and maybe even help them out with his particular skills. |

Personality
While his initial appearance intimidates most into absolute terror, he is a generally friendly guy. He likes to sit and hang out with folks around the fire and tell them stories about his many travels, often adding funny twists to them. But some of them seem a bit to outlandish for some. His stories sometimes drag on, but he explains he gets excited talking to any non-sasquatch.
He has a natural curiosity to him, often grabbing people’s belongings to examine them. He usually is unsuccessful in finding out what they are without help. And he has a habit of sometimes “forgetting” to return things. But he says doesn’t mean to, just honest mistakes. He also likes picking people’s brains with all sorts of random questions, like where they’re from, what’s their home or life is like, or super inappropriate questions that most wouldn’t dare to ask.
Truth is that he still has a lot to learn when it comes to standard etiquette. Which has led to more than a few misunderstandings. But other than this he comes across as a chill and helpful guy.
He is very slow to being truly angry, that typically when he is relentlessly pushed to a breaking point, physically or mentally. He will give polite warnings, ones that get progressive less polite the more he is pushed.

Despite his limited education growing up, he is very good at picking up new skills somewhat quickly. This mainly works with physical actions; by studying people he can replicate their movements with pretty good efficacy.
✦ Extreme Senses
He has a very strong sense of smell and hearing, eyesight only slightly better than the average human. With them he will see you before you ever see him.
✦ Night Vision
Self-Explanatory.
✦ Fury of the Beast
When he gets truly angry, his hair stands on end, and his muscles seem to double in size, making him appear much larger than before, and making him much stronger. But slightly less durable.
✦ Silent Footsteps
Thanks to a layer of fat on his feet, his footsteps barely make a sound.
✦ Rift Opener
His kind have the innate ability to open rifts across dimensions or places within dimensions with relative ease. (However, this ability is heavily restricted upon entering the Bifrost Terminal.)
Skills & Stats
He is a master of hiding and disappearing, even in the most skilled trackers can't find him. These skills are attributed across his species; however one cannot hope but be confused when the giant like figure vanishes in a blink of an eye.
A survivalist by nature, but it isn't much of a skill, more of a natural integration of himself and the wild. He can survive in most typical biomes with relative ease.
He can sort of play guitar, but he only knows two cords.

- If a weapon is absolutely needed, he will pick up or rip something out of whatever is near him and use it. Be that a rock he can throw with great force or something he can swing like a club.

✦ I'm not entirely against NSFW stuff with him, but personally it wouldn't make much sense since he is mainly attracted to lady sasquatches. If any is made or you think it could make sense in the story, please let me know.
